Privacy notice
This site is run by Aamer Naeem OBE, co-author of The Good Leadership Book. It is a small, static site: it has no accounts, no forms, no analytics and sets no cookies. This notice explains the little data that does move, and who to ask about it.
Visiting this site
Like every web server, ours at DreamHost records standard access logs: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent. These are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are kept for the host's normal log period. We do not use them to identify or profile anyone.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and this site sets no cookies. Our fonts, images and scripts are served from our own server, so an ordinary visit contacts no one else.
Things that load from other services
A few features come from other providers. Where possible they load only when you choose to use them, so nothing is sent to them unless you do.
- Instagram posts. We show a still image first. Only if you press it does Instagram (Meta) load, and Meta's own privacy policy then applies.
- The interactive video. The player loads only when you press play. It is provided by a third-party video service whose player includes a Meta pixel, so Meta may receive data about that viewing.
- The 3D model. Served from our own subdomain, model.goodleadership.org, which loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Google therefore receives your IP address when that section is displayed.
- Links elsewhere. Buying the book (Amazon, via mybook.to), the book preview (Book2Look), the leadership assessment (assessment.goodleadership.org) and Trees for Life are separate sites with their own privacy policies.
