One of the Twelve Characters
Navigator

'I Will help you achieve'
Navigator resides in the Domain of Others and the Dimension of Purpose.
Navigator is the trusted companion that helps others stay true to living a purposeful life. It will help you find, clarify, articulate, and achieve your vision. Navigator opens doors and motivates others to keep going when things get difficult. Navigator is genuinely interested in what gives energy and vitality to a person. It helps you achieve dreams by breaking them into goals and attaining them. The key role of Navigator is to champion purposeful action, provide encouragement and give confidence to others. Navigator collaborates with the other three 'Domain of Others' Characters in the following ways:
Who is Navigator?
It takes a genuine interest in other peoples' goals and visions, supporting them to hold on to and achieve them. Navigator helps people find direction when the going gets tough. It travels alongside them as a trusted companion providing the encouragement and strength needed to reach their destination. Purpose and vision come best to us in metaphor and images - the language of poets and mystics. Thus, Navigator shows up in unexpected places, we just need to be open to its messages and meanings. It doesn't have to be human and can be signs and symbols from nature too. In Viktor Frankl's deeply resonant book, 'Man's Search for Meaning,' he recounts the way that a small bird acted as a Navigator. It gave him hope through the dark days of incarceration in one of the Nazi death camps during the Second World War. For Frankl, the bird was a way to communicate with his wife who had been killed in a women's camp nearby. The bird accompanied Frankl during the days of hard labour. It provided a lifeline and connection to something outside of the hell hole. It acted as a reminder that there is hope for the future and a reason to survive. Navigator's leadership role is to guide others to help achieve their Purpose.

Where Navigator sits in the model
At the heart of the Purpose Dimension is the question: Where are we going?
The Domain of Others is the domain of relationships: how you behave with family, teams and the people you lead. It is where inner work becomes visible.
The other Characters in the Purpose Dimension are Inner Visionary and Architect. The other Characters in the Domain of Others are Empath, Mentor and Storyteller.
